I was born and raised in Hollywood, California. I have been HAPPILY MARRIED for 24 years. I have 3 beautiful children (Danielle, Stephanie, & Jonathan), a wonderful son in-law (Jebediah) and the most beautiful granddaughter in the world, Emma.
We all live in the same area of Northern Arizona.
I have been doing my family geneology on my fathers side of the family for over 10 years. He was a holocaust survivor. His father, my grandfather (Hans Heinz Hanauer) was murdered in Auschwitz on March 31, 1943. My family survived the Rosenstrasse Potest which occurred in Berlin from February 27th until March 8th 1943. This was the demonstration of Christian wives of Jewish men being held in a closed factory on Rosenstrasse (Rose St.) in Berlin and the protest ended peacefully with the release of the prisoners.
I have had many opportunities to tell my story of my families survival via newspaper and radio. Next is television in the near future.
My life is one big adventure full of surprises everyday.
